4 Legged Treats

What a lovely morning it here in the middle America! Twenty-eight degrees outside is what the thermometer is reading. Even my dogs wasted no time outside this morning. As soon as they watched Elise, my daughter, get on the bus, they were over being out there. I have the most spoiled dogs ever! They can't be left alone...they'll get lonely. One is 80-85 pounds and the other is well over a 100 pounds (we are working on an intervention to tell him he's pushing the borders on obesity) and if they had their way they'd be carried around in the world's largest dog purse. But until Mary Poppins loans me her bag they will have to walk.
For our four-leg family members I thought I'd take a moment to post a few things they may enjoy.

If you have a facebook account you can take advantage of a few samples or freebies through there.
PetSmart has a instant win giveaway. 3 card monte style as my magician friends would say. Keep your eyes on the prize for a chance to print a very nice coupon for your best friend. I can't say what the feline prize or prizes are but I was able to win a $3.00 off coupon for an individually wrapped canine Greenies dental chew. In my neck of the woods that's the equivalent of free! 2 print limit applies, which means you get 2 for free! I have noticed on their page though that a few people are having problems printing. But they have posted an email address to contact to receive your winnings if you have problems.
Fancy Feast is doing an ornament giveaway. 7,000 a day beginning at 9 am ET. Get your feline friend another ornament to bat off the Christmas tree! Because even the oldest of cats get up in the middle of the night to smack an ornament or two. Looks safe enough to fly at least halfway across the room and not break. Not sure how many days they are planning to run the giveaway but it is up today and says if you miss your chance to return tomorrow.
Pork Chomps sent me a great sample a little while back and while they aren't sending samples out at the moment they are offering  25% off your next online order if you "like" their facebook page. My dogs loved them! Made from baked pork skin these chews are easy to digest and satisfy the need to chew. My weimaraner is two and STILL chews constantly. Good opportunity to get a few stocking stuffers.

Do you have a horse? I don't but my 13 year old step-daughter has 2, Jewel and Joker. If you have the time to send an email or two you can take advantage of a few samples your horse would enjoy.
SmartPak is offering a sample that lasts 3 days to try one of their supplements for your horse. Call 1-888-752-5171 or email CustomerCare@SmartPak.com. Include your name, your horse's name, the supplement you'd like to try, and your mailing address.
Bearstone Horse Cookies is offering a sample of two of their cookies, Bearstone Bites and Gourmet Show cookies. One sample pack per horse, up to 6 horses  per request, limit 2 requests per address. And so no horse is left out they offer samples of large cookies, Draft Yummies for your larger horses and smaller cookies, Tiny Tidbits for ponies or miniature horses. Just include their breed to take advantage of the various sizes. You can request this sample by email or postal mail. bearstonesamples@yahoo.com or
Bearstone Horse Cookie Co
PO Box 803
Seabeck, WA 98380
Either way you choose to contact them include your name, address, e-mail address, and horse names (don't forget the breed if you need bigger or smaller cookies!)

Now I have a request if you can help, I'm on the lookout for a dog toy that can withstand weimaraner jaws to request from Santa for him. He's destroyed every toy I've every bought him in less than a half an hour. The only one that's ever lasted is a pull tug toy from Kong toys, in two days though he managed to chew all the rubber grips off and ended up with two pieces of very hard, very chewed plastic i had to take away as it was hurting his mouth. If you know of any that can withstand heavy chewers that need to find the squeaker and DESTROY it, let me know in the comments section please. Jeff would be greatly appreciative. He always looks so guilty when all he has is fragments of his toy between his paws.
Here is my 4 legged loves taking over the couch and Jeff, with his "Please Santa, bring me a new toy" look. How can you deny a face like that? :)

Hope your extra family enjoys the holidays too!
~Ms. Fe
